5/13-5/16: We will exhibit at the 41st International Conference on Robotics and Automation, ICRA2024

From May 13th to 16th: FingerVision Corporation will participate in the 41st International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA2024: IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation).

At the event, we will showcase an actual electric gripper that utilizes an image processing-based tactile sensor. Unlike tactile sensors that only detect force, our sensors also sense slippage, enabling handling similar to that of humans. Because it is based on image processing, it is also possible to add more modalities to the same sensor.

Recently, we have successfully implemented robot systems for arranging lunch boxes, a task previously considered too difficult to automate with robots. Additionally, our company continues to actively take on new challenges, such as the automation of dishwashing.
